A floating window for your scans

The auction house scanner can now open a small window that stays on top of everything else, including the game. It shows your scan history exactly as the page does — item icon, name and prices — updating as each item is read, and you can correct a price straight from it without switching back to the browser. It opens on its own when a scan starts, and there is a checkbox next to the scan button if you would rather it did not — though leaving it open is worth it: when the game covers the browser completely, the scan slows down and can miss items, and the floating window prevents that. Available in Chrome and Edge.

The scanner flags prices that look wrong

A misread price — a digit dropped, or a line read against the wrong row — used to save as quietly as a correct one, and you would only find it later, in front of a craft calculation that made no sense. Scanned prices are now compared against your own average for that item over the last 30 days: anything more than twice as high, or less than half, is highlighted in the scan history and in the floating window, with a warning icon that tells you the multiple and what your average is. The price is still saved either way — the mark is there so you can check it and correct it on the spot. It only shows up once you have a couple of prices recorded for an item, since before that there is nothing to compare against.

Count the auction house's cut

A new checkbox next to the sell price takes the auction house's 2% sales tax off your profits. It applies to the AH profit, the rune profit and the maging comparison — everything you would actually sell at the auction house. Selling to an NPC is not taxed, so that figure stays as it was. Tick it on one card and every card on the page follows, and it is remembered for your next visit.
